I was hired to create the MIND mobile app and accompanying website from scratch. I worked with one backend programer and content writer from concept to completion. Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop, Unity Game Engine, Java, Xcode.

The Client
During this project Mind Energy Shift (MIND) was a new wellness brand focussing on the connection between the mind and the 5 senses as they relate to shifting ones energy into positive states. MIND decided on using a mobile app and accompanying website as an initial product offering.
The Challenge
MIND wanted the mobile app to engage the senses in a unique and physical way while utilizing proven mental wellness methods such as positive affirmations and visual imagery. Also, there was a desire to create a user experience that would promote daily use of the app.
My Approach
After gathering requirements from MIND I suggested that utilizing an interactive ball of energy would be a great focal element for the user interface. I began working on 2D Motion assets to animate and test that theory.
After creating and testing 2D animations I decided that it would be more engaging and impactful to created the energy ball in a 3D environment. I used Unity to achieve the desired result.
Working with the lead programmer I designed all of the app screen for the app. As a result, the MIND app was completed and launched successfully.
